Branching Out was a really fun gift to make for my MIL, Sandy! It took lots of concentration, however, as lace patterns usually do. It knit up fairly quick, and took only one skein of Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. It was wonderful practice and very satisfying to watch the beautiful "branches" unfold. Hope you like it, Mom!

Looks great! I know what you mean about lace and concentration, though. Since having Silas, I do lacework rarely, if at all. Too many frequent interruptions. Seems like you didn't have any problems with it. Love the fo!
